Welcome to the website for CHANNING VALLEY! We are a warm, friendly, safe community in Atlanta, Georgia. We are part of Buckhead and very close to Midtown - just minutes from the best of everything Atlanta has to offer. We are in one of the best elementary school districts in the State of Georgia - the Morris Brandon Elementary School District. There are about eighty homes in our little community. Most were built in the 1950s, but we have several new homes and many of the original homes have been extensively renovated and expanded. We have an active Homeowner's Association, a Garden Club, a Book Club, seasonal parties and Fun Fridays in the Park! Oh yes, I almost failed to mention the park - Channing Valley Park is nestled in the middle of our neighborhood and has some great playground equipment for the kids and also a large playing field for kickball, soccer, you name it. That's our park sign above!
How do you find us? Take I-75 to exit 252 (Howell Mill/Northside Drive exit). Go east of I-75. Channing Drive runs between Howell Mill and Northside, and our community consists of Channing Drive and the streets that run off of Channing Drive (Fernwood, Forrest Trail, Upton, Sunbury Place, and Channing Place).
